PACIFIC PLACE. This large bakery/restaurant has some of the freshest food around. When you walk into Wheatfields, the first thing you see is the bakery and its display of cakes, pies, cookies, and desserts, which can be deliciously overwhelming. But it's the dining room that makes this a great choice for lunch. The house specialty is casseroles, and choices include the Düsseldorf (sausage, bacon, potatoes, and spring onions) and filet mignon combinations. The menu changes daily so ask the server for specials. Plus, save room for dessert because that's another Wheatfields trademark.
